Session Duration

Dyadic Parent/Child Art Psychotherapy sessions last 50 minutes.
Length of the Therapeutic Process
The length of therapy varies depending on individual needs. Some clients benefit from shorter-term therapy (typically 12–24 sessions), while others, particularly those with early trauma, attachment difficulties, or dissociative experiences, require long-term therapy. This will be reviewed as we progress.
Due to the nature of trauma, which is deeply embedded in the unconscious and often requires time to process through the gradual building of relationship and trust, grounding, deeper processing, and emotional integration - I specialise in long-term, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed psychotherapy, providing a consistent and containing space for healing.

Fees, Funding and Payment
Private Fees
Please contact me for fees.
Possible Sources of Funding
If private payment isn’t possible, there may be other funding options available depending on your or your child’s circumstances. These include:
-
Statutory Funding: You may be eligible if your child:
-
Has previously used Mental Health Services (e.g. under Mental Health Act, inpatient service)
-
Has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
-
Is adopted or has received support through Children Looked After services
-
-
Employer or Health Insurance: Some private health insurance plans may cover art psychotherapy. It’s worth checking with your provider.
While I cannot apply for funding on your behalf, I can provide guidance and information about possible funding routes – including how to explore statutory services, request assessments, or apply for support where applicable.
Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss whether any of these pathways may be relevant in your situation.
Payment Methods
I accept payments via BACS.
Cancelations
Sessions must be cancelled at least 72 hours in advance to avoid being charged the full session fee.
